i hosted a little egg hunt at our house a few days before easter. it was way fun to have a bunch of kids and friends to join us. the weather didn't look like it would cooperate, but the clouds parted and we got some happy sunshine.
i kept it really simple and gave the kids (and moms) popcorn and squeeze its afterward while we chatted and the kids played.
the backyard was the perfect place for an egg hunt so i think we'll make it a tradition.
friday night, after dinner, we dyed eggs. i always look forward to this, but having two kids this year made me even more excited. even though kendall had no clue what was going on, she still got into it. it was sad to think this was her last time experiencing a new holiday for the first time. she's growing too fast!
brooklyn was especially excited about it this year because she didn't really need any help, and heaven knows this three year old likes to do things all by herself.
the egg dyin' crew.
can't wait to do it again next year!
