easter festivities 2015.

peter cottontail always brings goodies friday night so that we can remember the true meaning of easter come easter sunday. i'd say he did a pretty good job this year.

brooklyn was so excited for the city egg hunt. she kept saying how she remembered the last year and exactly what to do. there were tons of eggs and she made out with five. ha! mostly because parents ran out onto the field and were filling their kids baskets with eggs while james and i just took pictures. better luck next year.

aunt toria came with us to the hunt and was such a huge help to me as james had gone to play some ball with his friends before the hunt. it's always fun to have her along.

the rest of saturday was spent listening to conference and eating our eggs. i love conference saturday and really wish it was more than twice than a year.

james and jeremy went to the priesthood session and the girls ordered take out, another reason conference saturday is my favorite!

chels and i took the girls to the park and let them play off some energy. they loved it and didn't want to leave.

sunday morning we got up, got ready, and headed to coalville. kayla was kind enough to bring her awesome nice camera to take pictures of the grandkids in their easter duds. it was a circus trying to get those four to all look and smile. they sure looked cute though!

family pic. a must right?

easter dinner was delicious thanks to my mom. these bad boys were the star of the meal for me though.

orange rolls. never ever will i divulge how many i ate. never.

it is so nice to relax with family and watch conference, even if kids are loud and distracting. i love these goof balls that i call family.

but in all seriousness, i loved conference. i always do. and though i may not to hear every word, i feel the spirit and i always come away with a renewed determination to live righteously. there were so many talks that i can't wait to go back and read (like president packer's). one of my favorite quotes though was this one from linda k. burton's talk. her talk was soo good and reminded me what a good husband i have!
