today, i am extra grateful for these two.

james: happiest when he is in basketball shorts and a t-shirt, watching a byu football game, and eating a big juicy cheeseburger.

brooklyn: happiest when she is wearing her dress-up princess dresses, sparkly pink lip gloss, a blanket draped over her head, and eating waffles smothered in cookie butter.

james works so hard for us and always always puts us first. i know that's hard for him sometimes, but he does it. he just wants us to be happy and he is such a great husband and father. i couldn't ask for better.

that little ball of fire up there keeps me on my toes. every second of every day. she teaches me patience and selfless love. oh that girl. i can't wait to see her in action as a big sister. 

i love both of them more than i can put into words.
