still painting...

checking in before the weekend! 

i've been in my paint clothes since tuesday. project "big girl room" is in full force and hopefully it will be done by this weekend. i sit in my paint clothes as i type this and i plan on peeling them off to enjoy the weekend but still get as much done as i can in this room now that 90% of the painting is done.

so far, the room is nothing impressive, but man, brooklyn sure thinks so. i've done most of the work while she takes her naps. the reaction i get when she wakes up and walks into her new room, "this is so wonderful!" so plain and simple is winning me this race with my genuinely excited two year old. oh that girl. 

so remember, when you see the final product... it's simple. just exciting to a toddler.

we are pumped over here to welcome in march over the weekend. march is a good month. february was good to us, but we are counting on march for some warmer days, spring grass, and lots of days at the park.
