while i was gettin' my craft on,
brooklyn was having a blast outside with her daddy and uncle jeremy.
when i got home, i fed brooklyn spaghetti and let her feed it to herself for the first time. we had a mess. one that required a bath in the end.
chels and i stayed up late talking while the boys watched football.
then saturday came...
and more football it was.
james played in the morning and then watched the byu game later in the afternoon. he was in charge of dressing brooklyn that day, and of course, put her in a byu shirt.
then, she ate more spaghetti (she LOVES it).
while the boys finished the game, chels and i ran errands and then finished our wreaths from the night before. they turned out to be a lot easier than we thought, and super duper cute.
james entertained brooklyn and kept her out of the glue gun area by taking her... where else...
outside. her favorite place to be in the whole wide world.
(we were both looking at our husbands' cameras)
that evening, all the ladies went to visit the huston clan and take them our gift for baby camden. he will hopefully be making his arrival soon. we had a nice visit and then headed home to our men. we had a late dinner and more late night conversation.
brooklyn did better in church than she ever has in her life. with a quick nap in the mother's lounge, she was set.
we enjoyed a nice relaxing day.
it did, however, end on a low note.
diaper rash and a fever for my little. ugh. i hate it. she has to get better. she has halloween on wednesday, and family pictures on saturday (oh and an airport run on thursday). she CAN'T be sick.
come on monday. work a miracle.
