Memorial Day Part B

That darn mommy brain of mine... I forgot my camera during all of the festivities during the day. But, my husband saved the day and took plenty of pictures all weekend on his phone, so those will be posted as well. Way to go hun. I'll work on that forgetful brain of mine.

Anyway, our actual Memorial DAY was great. We woke up to sourdough pancakes and bacon. What more could one want? We were in sourdough heaven. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. After breakfast we were off to the cemetery to quickly leave flowers and take a few pictures, sans James' phone. It was freezing and little Brooklyn was not dressed in appropriate Wyoming attire. Mommy didn't pack accordingly. Darn it. But she sure did love being outside.

We had lunch at Blondie's with the Holmes clan and then said our goodbyes. We don't see them often enough. It's sad. There definitely need to be more get togethers. We love you guys! And congrats to Colb and Nataley! Lincoln is adorable and we can't wait to meet him!

The drive home was nice and relaxing (Brooklyn rode home with her grandparents and aunts). After everyone arrived back in Coalville we grabbed blankets and headed for the backyard. The weather was perfect, and that's where we ended our Memorial Day weekend. Lovely and so relaxing. Let's do it again soon.
