the past couple of days, our mornings have started off with lots of snuggles and lots of requests from brooklyn to 'please hold my baby sister'. as long as kendall is in the right mood, she's absolutely ok to let her big sister hold her. and it makes brooklyn the happiest girl on the planet.

after brooklyn got out of the tub, she asked me if she could read a story to kendall. she wanted her propped up so she could see the pictures and everything. they were both enjoying themselves for a good five minutes.
and i just stood back and enjoyed this precious moment. oh my gosh. one of my favorite moments of these two so far. i may or may not have teared up. i'm so glad they have each other. i hope they'll always take care of each other and love each other and just be best friends. to have a sister is just the best.
^^^brooklyn has that book memorized, and when her daddy reads it to her before bed and is falling asleep, she just kind of takes over for him. she runs a tight ship when it comes to being read to. no skipping pages either.^^^
