first of all, i loved brooklyn in her Christmas dress today.
loved it. i bought it in october but never even had her put it on until today. she loved it! it's hard to tell in the pictures, but it's sparkly all over and she couldn't get over it. love it love it.
this past wednesday, this guy got accepted into the utah state mba program!
we were so dang excited and relieved to finally get this news. he'll be starting in january (guess i better hurry and buy him some pencils, notebooks, and a trapper keeper. just kidding about the trapper keeper, that can be for me... :) ) he doesn't have to travel to logan because he'll be going to the kaysville site... 12 minutes from our house! we get to stay in utah!!! and stay right where we are!!!!
he'll be going two nights a week for two years. totally doable. we'll definitely miss having him around on those evenings, but this will be so worth it! he can't wait to get back in the classroom and get his brain going. a two year break from school has been enough, and that was our plan. we can't believe it's all working out in the timeline we had hoped for.
things here at home with him gone two nights a week will definitely be a little crazy and interesting, mostly because...
we'll be adding to our little family at the end of june!!! i type that with tears in my eyes because it's still surreal to me and i feel so so so blessed. to be this far, just doesn't feel real. i can't put into words how blessed i feel.
we are more than excited!
(more details on that to come)
and because of this little one growing inside of me, i'm completely exhausted and will have to share more about our Christmas happenings another day. we're on our way to spend the holidays in coalville tomorrow evening (monday), starting it off right with the annual petersen Christmas party at the hotel. we're anxious to get these festivities going!
p.s. do you remember how i announced my pregnancy with brooklyn? here!
