my neighbor friend and i dressed up our children like pirates yesterday for a free dozen doughnuts at krispy kreme. they totally wanted in on it though. both brooklyn and shane love doughnuts. they were ready and willing to do as we asked. including wear the eye patches i so hastily made as we were running out the door.
brooklyn was most excited that she got to wear a scarf on her head. it was only a substitute for a blanket that is constantly adorning her head as her 'hair'.
who wouldn't want to give these two free dozens of doughnuts? so darn cute. look at 'em!
brooklyn ate four. i ate _ and james had _. i have a love/hate affair with doughnuts. i mostly love them. gosh they're good. especially hot and gooey. oh my goodness.
our weekend plans include seeing my in-laws, a quick trip to coalville, eating pizza, watching the byu/utah game, and lots and lots of family time. it sounds great to me. fall is here. i'm a happy camper.
...ooh and i think i need some more pumpkins.
