after a quick trip to the SLC for a work thing james had, we came home to cream gables and just relaxed. ok i lied. there was also a folding laundry party, but before that and after that, total relaxation.
brooklyn's relaxation involved jumping as high as she could on the tramp, fluffy on, and her parents chose to sit back and watch her and absolutely adore her. we just can't help it sometimes. we look at her and can't believe she's ours. she's almost two and we still can't believe she's ours.
she jumped, marched, and ran. then she needed a cookie/water break. she deserved that cookie. she doesn't stop when she gets on the tramp. if only if only...i had her energy.
she especially loves when one of us will say, "reaaaadyyyyy...go!" she takes off full speed ahead, one arm just a pumping, and she runs around the edge of the tramp as fast she can. she loves it. in fact, she probably loves running on the tramp more than she does jumping.
it was a nice cool summer evening to enjoy all together. once she was wiped out, we headed inside to partay and fold our laundry, and she had a bowl of cereal (which is slowly becoming a nightly ritual). then we sat down to watch a movie. nice. slow. and relaxing.
