we just love having holidays on mondays so we can just go and do whatever we want, no commitments to work (for james). we spent sunday night in coalville and spent all of monday with my family. we hadn't been there for several weeks so it was fun to be with everyone, visit, and eat. and that little niece of mine...

oh she's just the sweetest. the squishiest and the sweetest.
whit did the ruesch girls hair. color and trim for me, and a trim for brooklyn. that was a chore.
james, brooklyn, and i helped kayla with a project for school and we had so much fun doing it. brooklyn discovered deer poop during the project workings and it quickly became her favorite topic. she loves to say deer poop over and over again. she really wanted to pick some up, but luckily, we were all in very close proximity to her and the poop so she didn't have a chance.
we spent the evening with my parents at buffalo wild wings. long wait, but darn good food. it definitely hit the spot and was such a great way to end our long weekend. brooklyn loved having her grandma and grandpa dote over her all through dinner. she wanted to go home with them. sadly, she had to come home with her boring parents. maybe that means she and i need to do something fun today. i'll be thinking of something (while i do laundry).
