we like our friends.

last thursday evening, we had a little get together with some friends. we all met at a nearby park, brought some goodies to share, and chatted the evening away. it had been over a year since we had all gotten together and that was just seriously too long. the guys have been buddies since jr high and it just wouldn't be right to cut those ties now. but seriously, we love you guys.

so we all got caught up with each other's lives and happenings and shared our own stories and experiences from the past year. it's crazy how easy it is to just pick up where you left off when it comes to good friends. i feel like the mother of this group, or more like, the grandmother, mostly because i am the oldest, but i was also the first to marry into the group (minus jenny, but she was a part of the original group). i've seen these boys date their future wives and then gladly welcome them into this crazy group of friends. we hope that we can all continue to get together and be a part of each other's lives.
