Rosie's Blessing Day...

rosie mae -

you sure look grumpy in this first picture but you were nothing but an angel on your blessing day. your dad took your big sisters to the church to save seats and left you and me home to finish getting ready. i loved having a few minutes alone with you to dress you, take pictures of you, and talk to you. you are such a special girl rosie mae!

your daddy gave you a beautiful blessing, honestly beautiful, and you didn't make a peep. you got passed around during the meeting, up and down the bench, and you were such a good girl.

we did your luncheon at nana and papa's with all your cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents, and your great aunt barbara. it was such a special day!

you come from such good people. always make good choices so that they will continue to be proud of you.

that whole day was surreal. i waited for you for what felt like forever, and to finally be at your blessing day was surreal. you are loved beyond measure and will never lack in support. your big sisters are still over the moon with you and think you are the best to thing to happen to them! i love you with everything in me rosie girl and i hope you can feel that as you grow up.

after your blessing...

we all got changed and headed up to grandma and grandpa's for our annual super bowl party. you got passed around once again and loved being held all day long!

i only have two pictures of that event and they are of food, not people. food is very important for the super bowl. you'll find that out next year.

the next day, you had your two month check up. darn those shots. they definitely break my heart more than than they do yours! you sweet little thing! getting some cute chub on you!
