our valentine's day was pretty successful. we got to see james for lunch. brooklyn and i got some chores done, and that little thing even took an early nap so i could get everything ready for james' return home (with our take out).
this year we went with olive garden and it did not disappoint. the dessert might have been my favorite part. not sure i could really decide, but really, that dessert was pretty on spot.
we just enjoyed a nice quiet evening at home laughing our guts out watching a few of our favorite shows: the office, modern family, and new girl. love them all.
we're excited to have a long weekend ahead of us. last night was a great precursor. we love spending time together as a little family and having an extra day where james doesn't go to work is such a plus.
