school starts wednesday and i can't believe it...a little bit of denial going on over here. but we will have no regrets this summer and that's always my goal! we had another week packed full of summer fun. with a little exhaustion on the side...
seven peaks monday...
grape rainbows for our fhe treat that night...
swimming with friends tuesday by day...
and our annual trip to the cougar kickoff by night! the girls loved being with ruesch and lynch cousins. they had a blast running from thing to thing and would have stayed all night if it wasn't for mean parents and bed times.
the picture below was in the daily herald the next morning. so cute of brookie!
the girls' last session of tumbling in coalville wednesday morning...
they've loved seeing grandma and cousins every week. brooklyn got to stay behind and go school clothes shopping and to a movie with livi and auntie hay. lucky duck! so to make my younger two happy, we stopped at lagoon for a few rides and they were thrilled!
then, we woke up the next day and did lagoon again with cousins and nana.
we could hardly wait to get our brookie back and we were so happy when she got home thursday afternoon! she promptly cleaned her room and proceeded to clean the rest of the house...though i stopped her because daddy came home, we ate dinner, and chelsea and i snuck off for a girls' night at lagoon. yep, i went to lagoon three times in almost twenty four hours. fun, but exhausting!
friday we went swimming all together at the pirate ship pool but none of us took a picture!
that night was music in the park and michael mclean was the main act. we met up with the ruesch clan and had a relaxing evening until the lightening started and shut the whole thing down. darn it. we made up for it with tacos and crumbl cookies!
saturday we woke up bright and early to take our turn cleaning the church, then i ran to the gym, and james ran to help our friends move. i got home, mowed the lawn, james had a church meeting to go to, and then we all took off for seven peaks. it was closing day and we just had to go! we met kayla and her kids there and enjoyed one last summer swim there.
we ended our weekend at...where else...lagoon. we let each girl choose two rides, we saw a huge rat, brooklyn and i rode colossus, and we called it a night. we all slept very well last night. phew! and now we have a lot to look forward to this week. and i'm trying to be a brave mama and be excited about brooklyn started school again this week. i can do this!
