last weekend technically started for me on thursday evening. my friends and i got together, to shower one friend + plus send her off (moving to washington!), and also to send another one off (just to sandy thank goodness!). it had been a long time since all eight of us had gotten together. sad to have two moving away, but it was so fun to chat and get together! my friend who hosted, spoiled us a fancy spread to enjoy until midnight that night! i mean look at that!
so grateful for these girls!
saturday night brought one of my favorite things about summer that we barely got around to doing...in august! ugh. and that, was, tinfoil dinners! i love them in all shapes and forms. so much! the whole ruesch crew got together at a park and gobbled up tinfoil dinners while the kids mostly played, and then we topped it all off with banana boats. again, another favorite!
notice kendall's poor swollen eye! she has been super tasty to the mosquitoes this summer and we've found out she's pretty darn allergic to the pesky little things.
