james always takes a day off the week before school starts so that we can go out and have a fun filled day of family fun! so that's just what we did!
we started the morning off with a little walk/hike up at beautiful silver lake. it was perfect for the girls and they felt like real explorers up there looking at the wildlife, flowers, trees, and rocks. it was a beautiful day up there!

we headed back down the mountain and stopped at sam's club for the lunch. the girls have been obsessed with their slurpees and pizza. we changed into swim suits and headed to swim at farmington pool.
after a couple hours, everyone was exhausted, so we headed home to take naps and reset. our last stop of the day was lagoon. we love to go in the evening when it's a little cooler and the crowds have died down. we had dinner and rode rides! cousins and grandparents showed up a little later so the kids had fun riding rides together. we'll never tire of lagoon!
i'd say we all slept very well that night after such a packed day. but the memories and time spent together were so worth it!
