the fourth.

i love our traditions for the 4th!

7AM - neighborhood breakfast/flag raising

10AM - swimming/tacos/drinks

while the dads and kids swim, chels and i go set up our blankets in kaysville for the fireworks. and grab tacos and drinks.

2PM - home to shower + nap

4PM - get ready in patriotic clothes

5:30PM - BBQ

the storm rolled in while we were eating and threatened to ruin the rest of our night...

but we didn't let it! instead, we packed our sweats and jackets, snuggled up close, and enjoyed one of the most amazing firework shows i've ever seen!

we huddled under our umbrella for just a little bit, which forced us to snuggle up close. it ended up being one of my favorite 4th's to date. i loved it so much!

then as we waited in our van for the traffic to clear, girls asleep, james and i talked about baby names. like, every baby girl name you can think of. it made for a very fun ride home. and no, we still didn't come up with a name!

we'll see if 2020 can top 2019!
