24th in Cokeville

the 24th celebration in cokeville, a tradition for me since i was a baby. i've always loved this weekend spent with family and now, it makes my heart burst with happiness that my girls love it too!

we rolled into cokeville later friday night than we usually do. so naturally, that meant we had to stay up later to make up for it. my girls weren't in bed until after midnight. that made for a rough morning when we had to get up to get ready for the parade.

they love getting as much candy as they can, with cousins, and eating lots while they watch the parade. adalyn loved the horses this year.

this picture is all of the great-grandchildren (most of them anyway). my girls love all of these cousins and i'm so glad they love each other and look forward to playing with each other!

after lunch, the kids put on swim suits and ran through sprinklers and slipped on the slip and slide. they have such a great time together!

we failed at our attempt at naps. the men went clay pigeon shooting, the ladies had a baby shower for mommy-to-be collette, and then we had a delicious dinner. we were all anticipating the fireworks all day. this year, i think with all our money pulled and my uncle's generous donation, we doubled the amount of fireworks this year.

between the fireworks, we sang to bridger bear and ate birthday cake.

the guys all love lighting the fireworks and running away as they start exploding (so scary!), and i love this picture james got right before they lit this bunch.

the fireworks were amazing and huge! and there were so many of them! such a fun way to end the day! we then hauled kids to bed in hopes of an earlier bed time because of 9AM church the next morning. they really were troopers to get up and be ready for church before 9!

this is as good of a picture as we got afterwards. and there are so many pictures i didn't take! i love being with my cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents for the weekend. there's just nothing quite like it!
