and i feel like we've already packed so much into summer! i'm actually grateful for the last two days of cooler weather to force us to slow down a little.
we started our summer off with one of my all time favorite traditions, spring haven! this family reunion is a long running tradition (17 years!) and i love that my girls love it now too. there is no service at this nice big place so i seriously took no pictures and the ones i took are horrible.
my sisters and i did a little justin bieber number for the family talent show and practicing for it was seriously my favorite memory of the weekend. we laughed until our stomachs hurt and had the best time being goofy!
here we are performing it. again, no good pictures dang it!
after spring haven we hit up seven peaks in provo and had such a good time with just our little family! we also scored some delicious tacos and nachos!
splash pad + pizza is always on our summer bucket list and we checked this one off early!
i got a new adorable little niece! i got to be there for the delivery and everything. she is seriously a little dolly!
it wouldn't be summer without seven peaks in salt lake. we've been going here for the last six summers. hoping they'll stick to their #makesevenpeaksgreatagain campaign and make it awesome again in the next three years. we love it there!
if you live near a megaplex, their 2017 kid movies series is such a great idea! you buy a $10 pass that gets you into 10 movies (one a week). my girls love going to the theatre and we never do because it's so dang expensive! this is such a great cheap way to beat the heat and also see some movies!
(can you spot james in this one?)
we've loved having brooklyn home all day with us! this scene has been a very common one when we're not on the move! and i LOVE it!
my girls love the zoo! we got passes again this year and they loved showing their nana all their favorite things! riding the train is definitely a highlight!
this past friday, a crew from utah state came to interview james and do some video of our family for some marketing stuff. it was really cool and you know i'll never pass up an opportunity to be involved in anything that has utah state's stamp on it!
our very first vegetable garden is actually producing vegetables!!! this past weekend we picked peas and gobbled them up! fresh peas taste like summer and i can't wait for the rest of our veggies to pop up!
my cousin got married!!! and the payson temple is seriously beautiful! the happy couple looked amazing and had the most fun (and delicious) reception. my girls could have danced the whole night!
